Here’s a detailed look at what you can expect!

How to Sign Up:

Choose Your Event: Sign up for the flash date event that interests you. If you don’t see a suitable event right now, you can still express your interest in future events! Simply select "Future Events" on the sign-up form to stay updated.
Secure Your Spot: If selected for the event, you’ll receive an email with instructions to secure your spot with a $12 fee.
Final Confirmation: Once your spot is secured, you’ll get a text message from me for final confirmation. Feel free to reach out via email or text with any questions you might have.
Reminders: We’ll send you a few reminders before the event to ensure you’re all set.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation: If you need to cancel, you can do so up to 48 hours before the event for a full refund.

Technical Tips:

Install Zoom: We recommend installing Zoom in advance to avoid any technical issues during the event.
Display Name: Ensure your Zoom display name shows only your first name to maintain anonymity. Here’s how to change your display name if needed.

Before the Event:

Joining Instructions: You’ll receive a unique Zoom link for each date 5 minutes before it starts. Check your text messages for the correct link.
Pre-Date Details: After your participation is confirmed, you’ll get a brief self-introduction about each participant and a simple icebreaker question to help start the conversation.

During the Event:

Meeting People: You’ll chat with 5 different people, each for 10 minutes. This format helps you quickly gauge the vibe and explore potential connections. A time reminder will ding about 1 minute before the end of each date, and you’re welcome to end the conversation earlier if there’s no connection—just be polite!
Breaks: There will be a 5-minute break between each date to give you a moment to reset.

After the Event:

Follow-Up: You’ll receive a survey to indicate if you’d like to follow up with up to 3 individuals and specify your availability for the next 7 days for potential follow-up dates. You will also have the opportunity to provide opinions on any dates that didn’t work out.

Before the Date:

Match Confirmation: We will confirm your matches a day after the flash date event and arrange the follow-up dates based on mutual availability.
Scheduling: We will communicate with you individually via text to arrange the date and time for each of your follow-up dates. You’ll receive Zoom links prior to each date.
Discussion Topics: To help you get to know each other better, we will share a list of suggested topics to discuss during your date.

During the Date:

Extended Date: Connect with your matches via Zoom, with the camera off. Follow up dates are designed to be 30+ minutes each, but there’s no set time limit, allowing you to chat for as long as you both enjoy the conversation. You can have up to 2 follow up dates with each match if both of you wish to continue.
Camera Option: For your second follow up date with each match, you have the option to turn on your camera towards the end of the date. We will ask you if you’d like to do this before your date.

After the Date:

Feedback and Follow-Up: We will reach out via text message after each date to ask if you’d like to continue exploring with your match. If not, we will request your feedback on the date. If you didn’t match and received feedback, you’ll have the option to view that feedback to gain insights into their perspective.

Before the Date:

Arrangement: If you match with someone after 2 follow-up dates, we will coordinate to arrange a physical date at your preferred location. The date should be scheduled within 7 days after your last follow-up date.
Visual Cues: If you didn’t have a video reveal during the follow-up dates, we will provide visual cues to help you recognise each other in person.

During the Date:

Meeting in Person: This is your chance to see how your connection translates in real life. Assess qualities beyond voice and conversation, and determine if there’s potential for something special.
Contact Details: Keep the mystery alive! We encourage you not to share your contact details during the date. If you decide you want to share them afterward, you can confirm this with me.

After the Date:

Final Decision: After your physical date, we will follow up to understand your final decision. You can choose to share your contact details to continue the connection beyond this experience, or you can decide to move on. If you choose to move on, there are no strings attached as your contact details will not be shared.
